Payment Policies

Dr. McCall provides free phone consultations prior to the scheduling of any services. 

As of 2026, Next Step Psychology will no longer be able to accept insurance, but superbills can be provided upon request for the client to submit to their insurance for possible reimbursement. 

Payment can be made via credit card, Venmo, Zelle, HSA, and ESA. 

Payment plans and adjustments can be considered on an individual basis. 

Evaluations are billed at a rate of $150 per hour, which applies to all testing, interviewing, scoring, report writing, and interpretation, with a maximum cap of $3500. There is a $100 holding fee due when scheduling any evaluation, but there is otherwise no payment expected until the entire evaluation process has been completed and a final invoice is provided. 

Therapy sessions are $150 for initial intake and each subsequent session. 

Court-based services are provided at a rate of $400 per hour.  Additional fees related to no-shows or late cancellations are outlined on separate payment policy documents. 

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. Clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. Any client for whom this applies will receive a Good Faith Estimate prior to their first session.
